The Perfect Protection for your Home Away from Home

The QLD Shade Sheds Team recently in the Gracemere area installing this Large Span Motorhome Shelter for our Client.

The Shelter was custom sized to suit our client’s Motorhome and measured 6.5m wide x 11.6m long with 3.5m high posts to ensure there was plenty of room in the apex to fit the rooftop air conditioner and satellite dish which sits on top of the Motorhome.

The frame was made from a heavy duty 150mm x 50mm RHS galvanised steel with hot dipped galvanised sleeves and our square corner design that is a standard feature for all our Shade Sheds and Shelters with a span of 8.1m and under.

To match in with the existing colours on the main house, our client chose a mix of Manor Red and Classic Cream for the Colorbond® Sheeting and flashing and for additional protection, an extra x2 sheets were added to each side wall that will shield the Motorhome from the harsh afternoon sun.

Being in a Region C area, the Shelter is fully Cyclone Rated, Engineer Certified and backed by our 10-year Structural Warranty for complete peace of mind.

Thanks to our client having the site level and ready before arrival, the QLD Shade Sheds Team were able to have the concrete pier footings in and the Motorhome Shelter erected within two days.
