QLD Shade Sheds: Frequently Asked Questions About Sheds

QLD Shade Sheds is a leading manufacturer of shade sheds for caravans, livestock, boats and more in Queensland. In this blog, we answer the most commonly asked questions about our range of shelters.

What are the Standard Sizes Offered?

Our team of experienced fabricators have manufactured a range of standard size shade sheds for caravans, diy carports, horses, boats and more. Browse our website for standard shade shed sizes, or contact our team to start designing a customised shed for your specific needs.

Which Materials Do You Use to Manufacture Sheds?

All sheds are made to order in our workshop using galvanised steel and Colorbond® sheeting, available in a range of colours, for extra strength and durability. Our products are certified for use in wind regions A, B and C in Australia, and our company also holds ISO 9001 Quality and AS/NZS 4801 OHS Management Certifications. Our transportable sheds can withstand harsh sun and severe storms while protecting your goods.

How Are Shade Sheds Installed?

QLD Shade Sheds is committed to providing Australian clients with high-quality sheds that are easy to install, no matter where they are located. We deliver sheds to your doorstep with detailed assembly instructions that are easy for you or your local handyman to follow. All you need is a ladder and a drill and you’re ready to go!

How are the Sheds Anchored?

QLD Shade Sheds are proud manufacturers of durable, transportable sheds that can be set up on most terrains. We offer three types of hold downs depending on the size and type of shelter, with ground anchors for concrete free installation and concrete piers for cement footings. Are you looking for a shed that can be installed on a concrete slab? We provide saddles and bolts to get the job done.

If you need to set up a shed on uneven ground, send us a diagram and let our team provide you with an assessment of your location.

Do Sheds Need Council Approval?

Need help securing council approval? For a 50% deposit, our team can send you the Engineering Certificate and Form 15 to help your application. If the application is declined by the council, your deposit will be refunded to you.
